Being in and around the water allows a lot more freedom for the subject to express themselves in front of the lens. The water stimulates different behaviour in pets and people alike.
Children have a very active imagination and whether or not they are comfortable in the water to begin with, by the end, you'll have a 'Water Baby' on your hands. Some pets will surprise you with what they are comfortable and able to do, pushing the boundaries of pet photography
This project has now expanded to working with pregnant mothers.
We are absolutely delighted with the underwater shots that Andrew took of our children. Andrew spent time before hand chatting to the children, getting to know them and also talking to them about what he would like them to do once they were in the water. Andrew also showed the children the camera and underwater equipment so that by the time they were in the water, they were really at ease and happy to perform! It was such a fun experience for the children and the results are just brilliant!
Thank you so much Andrew.
